Capabilities
What Groups actually does for you.
Parent–child entity linking
Attach any number of client entities to a parent group. A promoter's five companies become one relationship instead of five separate records.
Group-level dashboard
Open any group and see every open task, upcoming deadline, outstanding invoice and compliance item rolled up across all its entities.
Entity-level drill-down
Click into any entity within the group to get the individual view — the group context is always one click away.
Flexible team assignment
Different team members can own different entities within the same group. Visibility is shared at the group level so nothing falls through the cracks.
Group invoicing
Send a consolidated invoice covering work across all entities, or individual invoices per entity — your choice on each billing cycle.
Group compliance calendar
See all statutory deadlines across every entity in the group on a single calendar, filtered by jurisdiction or deadline type.
How it runs
Four steps, and then it looks after itself.
Configuration is a one-off. After that the module runs on your schedule and only asks for a human when something genuinely needs one.
- 1
Create a group
Name the parent (e.g. "Apex Holdings") and link the existing client entities that belong to it.
- 2
Assign work
Tasks and deadlines created at the entity level automatically appear on the group dashboard.
- 3
Review at group level
Open the group to see the rolled-up status — what's on track, what's overdue, what's unbilled.
- 4
Bill the group
Raise a consolidated invoice covering all entities or separate invoices per entity with one action.
FAQ
Groups, answered
Still unsure whether it fits how your team actually works? Ask us the awkward version of the question — we would rather answer it now than after you have migrated.
Talk to us Can one entity belong to multiple groups?
No — each entity has one parent group. This keeps the hierarchy clean and ensures rolled-up reporting is accurate.
Can we set up tasks and compliance schedules at the group level?
Tasks are created at the entity level and roll up to the group. Compliance schedules can be applied to each entity individually and viewed together on the group calendar.
Can different team members manage different entities in the same group?
Yes. Entity-level ownership is independent — you can assign a different manager to each entity while still seeing everything at the group level.
Does billing at the group level combine all entity work?
Yes. You can generate a single consolidated invoice that draws billable items from every entity in the group, or keep invoicing per entity — configurable per group.
